Apple tart from ready-made pastry

Ingredients

• pastry — puff or shortcrust; ready-made tart pastry works
• apples — 2
• apricot jam
• sugar
• butter — 50 g

Method

1. Unroll the pastry and spread it with apricot jam.
2. Arrange the apples on top.
3. Sprinkle with sugar and dot with pieces of butter.
4. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 20 minutes, until the edges are golden and the apples soft.
5. Best served hot with ice cream.
